During the recent floods, over the last ten years God has shown me that His Glory will cover the earth, even as the waters are covering the earth. I know that the Scripture says "as the waters cover the sea", but God was showing me that He is sending revival and His Glory is coming to rest on this earth. This week, He gave me the following:

I will wipe out sin on this earth. Holiness and sin cannot abide together. As my presence comes, so sin must go. You are right, judgment starts with the house of God (the Body of Christ). Call the Christians to repentance because I will start with them. Only the blood of Jesus can protect them. Take up the position of authority I have given you. Speak in My Name and I will do it. Seek my Face and I will be with you even to the end of this age. You are not one, not alone, not isolated, but My Heavenly army surrounds you and will do your bidding as I lead you, as I speak through you, as I guide you. Not of your own doing, but MINE. My Will be done, not yours, not mans, not governments, but MY Will.

Prayer: Instead of Wrath, remember Mercy, O God! Show your Mercy over this land. Forgive our sins and the sins of our fathers. Bring us back to yourself O LORD.

Following is an extract from Chapter 4 in my book "Naturally Supernatural"

Luke 16:19-31: “There was a certain rich man who was clothed in purple and fine linen and fared sumptuously every day. But there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, full of sores, who was laid at his gate, desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man’s table. Moreover the dogs came and licked his sores. So it was that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels to Abraham’s bosom. The rich man also died and was buried. And being in torments in Hades, he lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. “Then he cried and said, ‘Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.’ But Abraham said, ‘Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things; but now he is comforted and you are tormented. And besides all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed, so that those who want to pass from here to you cannot, nor can those from there pass to us.’ “Then he said, ‘I beg you therefore, father, that you would send him to my father’s house, for I have five brothers, that he may testify to them, lest they also come to this place of torment.’ Abraham said to him, ‘They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.’ And he said, ‘No, father Abraham; but if one goes to them from the dead, they will repent.’ But he said to him, ‘If they do not hear Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded though one rise from the dead.’”

We have bred a society today that denies the existence of a loving Heavenly Creator. Replacing biblical teaching with a theory that everything can be left to chance because that is how it all began. Parents raise their children without any instruction in the ways of God, claiming that they will discover for themselves what they would like to believe.

In recent years there has been a rapid decline in both sexual and social morality. Young girls dress immodestly, not leaving much to the imagination. Who needs pornography with such displays of the flesh? Internet connectivity makes pornography much more accessible, destroying the minds of our youth. In the last 20 years there has been a great increase in the addiction to this vile habit.

A lifestyle of drunken debauchery and drug addiction mixed with sexual promiscuity in our youth makes for a Godless society. There appears to be no room for Jesus. So many of our youth today do not know who Jesus is and what the purpose of the cross was.

Let us take a look at what was lost when God was removed from our homes and schools. Also, when people stopped going to church and let their children decide for themselves without the instruction of biblical beliefs:

1.      Respect for their elders

2.      Respect for figures of authority

3.      Respect for one another and their own bodies

4.      The honouring of God – loving the Lord our God and loving our neighbour as ourselves

5.      Forgiveness

6.      The sense of altruism and putting others before themselves.

Playstation and internet games, smart phones and television decrease the quality of communication one gets through personal and sustained relationships. Although these things enhance immediacy and diversify modes of communication, they also decrease the development of social skills and reduces sporting activity. Our youth are subjected to violent, aggressive, rude, unhealthy images and little in the way of morals through these means.

Young lives are stolen from us in this lifetime and lost for all eternity in the next, because we have allowed it!

Following are some examples of the disposable society that we have created for the sake of convenience and speed:

1.      Breakdown in family values: After 20 years of marriage a divorce can be granted in 6-8 weeks if no children are involved and with children it could take 6-8 months because of financial and parental responsibilities. There is a ready acceptance of marriages dissolving on a regular basis on minor issues. Because of dysfunction in families there are very low family values carried over to the next generation. Young couples get married with the view to divorce if things do not work out.

2.      Processed, fatty, fast foods: Supermarkets and fast food restaurants cater for the fast-moving, fast-living frenzy, producing fat adults and despairingly fat, lazy children. Apathy from eating too much fatty processed foods, coupled with very little exercise because of television and computer games, leave our children without any incentive to be the best that they can be in life.

The decline of moral teaching normally obtained from Biblical stories and Sunday School has produced many consequences some of which are listed below:

At home, parents are restricted with disciplinary methods. Children are encouraged to complain to Child Line, Tic Tac and other counselling services about their parents. Parental authority is undermined as counsellors and school nurses are encouraging “safe sex” by distributing condoms and referring young girls for abortions without consulting their parents. Teenage pregnancies have skyrocketed despite these efforts.

Council housing and special funding is set up for teenagers with children to live independently, making it easier for them to entertain friends. This encourages fornication and sexual promiscuity.

Sin has increased dramatically over the years as society has adapted to Godless lifestyles. Parents encourage their children to find their own way in life.

The opposite of holiness is sinfulness. We have bred a sinful society and blame it on the government, the teachers, the youth, the television etc. But we are not considering our own acquiescence resulting in the fact that our children are being misled.

Romans 8:5-8: For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be. So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God.

If this generation dies, what would be the end of them? Where would they be spending eternity when they have breathed their last? If they heard the gospel and decided against the ways of God and find after they breathe their last that they chose not to believe the Truth, what message would they send from beyond the grave? If they had a voice to speak to us after they have passed over, what would they say?

I can only imagine that these would be some of the things that they would want us to know:

•         “Please go and tell my family that there is a God”

•         “Put God back into our schools and homes”

•         “Listen to the gospel and put your faith in Jesus”

•         “You do not want to be where I am, it is horrendous; there is no hope or peace”

•         “God is real and Jesus died so that you do not have to be in this place”

Prayer: Heavenly Father, I come to you in humility and submit my life into your hands. I accept the finished work of the cross and have received forgiveness for my sins. However, I have not been faithful in preaching the gospel so I ask you Lord to forgive me. Give me wisdom to speak to my family members, friends and neighbours about Your Love and acceptance. Please guide me as I seek to make Jesus known. Forgive me for my lack of faith and increase what faith I have. I ask for boldness and wisdom to speak and not be ashamed. Amen

Mark 16:15-18: And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

May God bless you and keep you in His Perfect Peace
