Remain Tender

The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. John 10:10

When the enemy come to take what God has given you, he does not appear in the form of a hateful, ugly creature, he comes in the form of an angel of light! He is a wolf in sheep’s clothing!
1. He comes with a flattering tongue but speak words that bring condemnation, criticism and judgment.
2. He steals your tine by telling you that you are not doing enough, or that what you are doing is not effective.
3. He offers you counterfeit gifts and what seems like a blessing, can effectively be a means to rob you blind. Like receiving an email
that flatters you with kind words, but contains a virus that will destroy your computer!
4. He destroys your relationships (family, spouse, neighbours and Christian family).

God is compassionate, kind, slow to anger, abounding in unconditional love. He reconditions us when we are born again to become more like Him, ie, to have the same characteristics. He takes out our heart of stone and gives us a heart of flesh, one that will feel the pain when we are attacked, but one that will fill with pain at the suffering of others to the point of doing something constructive to help!! What a wonderful God we serve.

The tender-heartedness that God has recreated in us is wide open for exploitation. The enemy loves it, it becomes fertile ground for him to destroy. If we do not recognise his tactics we will serve his purpose by being angry, disappointed and we will harden our hearts.

Do not let your tender heart be exploited by the world’s philosophy. The devil will use pride, status, power, money, sex and independence to drive you to a hard heart again. You are fearfully and wonderfully made in God’s image. The devil hates God and because you are made in God’s image, he hates you and is 100% committed to your destruction. Today, you choose whether you are going to listen to the devil or submit to God. Will you stop hating your brother, whom God loves? Will you keep a tender heart before God and be filled with compassion and love for others less fortunate than yourself? Will you repent of resentment and unkindness and allow God’s mercy to flow through you, even though you feel others are unworthy of it?

Would you be free from your burden of sin
there’s power in the blood, power in the blood
Would you o’er evil a victory win
There’s wonderful power in the blood
